Monarch Carpet & Upholstery Service began as a carpet cleaning company in 1937. We have one of the few automated rug-cleaning plants in operation in Southern California. Over the past 62 years, we have diversified into carpet fabrication to include binding and serging of area rugs, tapestry binding and manufacturing of custom area rugs.

In 1946 the second set of owners, Sanford Rosenberg and Moe Gertsman, joined the company and since that time it has been run as a family business.

The major emphasis was and still is quality and service. Our philosophy is, "No Job is Too Small." Over the years we have started selling flooring to the trade, supplying materials from all major carpet mills and hard service manufacturers. We encourage customers to visit our warehouse and user friendly showrooms.

Our commercial carpet starts at $2.99 per sq. yd. and our high-end wools can cost over $100.00 per sq. yd. We offer wood and laminated flooring from Wilsonart, Bruce, Anderson and Mannington. We also offer vinyl floor and V.C.T. tile from Armstrong and Mannington to name a few. Available is the finest carpet installation offered in Los Angeles when flooring is purchased at Monarch.

It is our goal to supply the best service and sell the material at only a fraction of our cost.
